30 in 60 Mix: Reader Submissions

A little over a month ago I posted a mix that I had made called 30 in 60. The premise was to create a mix that was 30 songs in 60 minutes (I thought about calling it "the mix for people with short attention spans"). If you missed it the first time around, you can check it out HERE.

People seemed to really like the concept, I probably got more emails & feedback about this post than anything I've put up on the site. I remember when I started this blog last October that I said to myself, "if one person can take something from it every day, then it's totally worth it for me". It meant a lot to me that so many people thought the idea was cool and went off on their own to see what they could put together.

Lucky for me, some readers actually took on the challenge and sent me their own "30 in 60s" that I wanted to share with you. Thanks to Salome (Birmingham, AL), Bethany (Houston, TX) and Casey (New York, NY) for taking the time to put these together and sending them in. I think you'll find that they made some really cool and unique choices across a lot of genres of music. If anyone else feels like putting something together and sending it my way, I'll be happy to post it in the future. Away we go.....
