I've been mesmerized by this studio session featuring Justin Vernon and Sean Carey of Bon Iver. Beautiful sound and a departure from the recent lineup they've been rolling out with about nine or ten band members, this takes me back to their theater tour a few years ago. Bon Iver playing.....a cemetery?

Yes, that's correct. On Sunday, Sept. 27th, Bon Iver will play a 6am (Sunrise) Show at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. This sounds like a pretty random show, but a cool event. All the details can be found HERE.

Dark Was The Night: Streaming on NPR

A few weeks back I wrote about a great benefit show I saw at Radio City Music Hall called "Dark Was The Night" (you can see it HERE if you missed the review earlier).
