Got an email last night about a new project from Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra titled, "Bad Books". You can check out their site HERE with upcoming tour dates including NYC, Philly, Baltimore and Cambridge. Take a listen to their song "You Wouldn't Have to Ask" on their Facebook page HERE.
Just in time so you can listen to some great songs while you do some last minute wrapping. Here's the fourth installment, five more great songs from 2009.....
"Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" - The Avett Brothers (from the album "I and Love and You")
Decide what to be and go be it.......
"Brother's Blood" - Kevin Devine (from the album "Brother's Blood")
"3 Rounds and a Sound" - Blind Pilot (from the album "3 Rounds and a Sound")
"The Ocean" - Tegan & Sara (from the album "Sainthood")
"Rosyln" - Bon Iver & St Vincent (from the "Twilight: New Moon" Soundtrack)
For the last couple of months I've been working up in Albany, NY and even though I'm really missing the NYC music scene, I was able to find a good radio station that I've been listening to recently.....90.9FM WCDB.
I discovered the station about a week ago when I was driving around looking for somewhere new to grab dinner and they had a great playlist including The National and the Royal Alberta Advantage, along with some other good tunes. Last night the DJ ( I think her name is Nicole) played some Matt & Kim, Tom Waits and also a song called "Brother's Blood" by Kevin Devine that I really liked. When I got back to the hotel I looked it up and thought I'd post it today. Hope you like this one.......
