Busted Ipod
So I dropped my ipod last week. Didn't think it was a big deal since it was only about a two foot fall to the floor in my apartment, but I was obviously wrong. As soon as I picked it up, I went to listen again and there was just this staggered clicking sound.....but no music. What really threw me off was this strange error message though....couldn't they be a bit more subtle?

Nice, yeah I find that with iPods & iPhones, you could throw them off a building and they'll be fine, but they can't take a 3-inch drop onto a carpeted floor covered in styrofoam peanuts.

You've got the same one I have, black 30 gig right? I found these stick on "covers" for them that are completely awesome. I've dropped mine a gazillion times, even on tile, and it's been ok. The best part is they have a screen protector as well so your screen doesn't get scratched.

Have you tried reconnecting to your computer, resetting and reinstalling??
